Back in 1990, Noida Development Authority developed a 4 acre piece of land located strategically in Block E-4, Sector 26, Noida, and then built 4 towers, naming them Canara Bank Apartment. As you may have guessed, these towers housing 120 apartments in 1 and 2 BHK plan are meant exclusively for Canara bank employees. As is usually the case, the organisational hierarchy was the main deciding factor for the allotment of flats within the Society. The officer grade got 1 BHK whereas managerial position holders got 2 BHK flats. Apart from the obvious advantage of colleagues living next to each other, the other good thing the residents here enjoy is the complex's proximity to Metro rail network, bus services and other public transport facilities. And of course, the Society is fully maintained by the bank.
