Set up between the Noida Golf Course and Aghapur village, Noida Sector 40 is an area that sees a mix of both residential and commercial buildings. All edges of the area touches the Noida Golf Course, while Noida City Centre Metro station is also nearby.

 

The entire Sector is divided among 6 blocks which together constitute the Residents Welfare Association (RWA) Sector 40, which involves a total of 745 houses ranging from 160 sqm to bunglows as large as 400 sqm. With lots of well maintained parks, block markets, a couple of schools and a charming Sai Temple in the neighborhood, Golf Link in Sector 40 is a pretty decent place to home in.

Trips, outings, and even commutes to and from workplace are never an issue given the transport options nearby. That includes Metro stations of Golf Course and Noida City Centre and buses from the prominent Sector 37 bus-stand from where one can reach anywhere. The main road right off the gates to the Sector can connect you to several other sectors across Noida and Greater Noida and rickshaws and autos from within the Sector can drop you at locations nearby.

The RWA body is made up of 4 executive members and 6 office bearers and a monthly maintenance charge of Rs 300 paid by the residents comes with services like the upkeep of parks and gardens, repair of roads within the Sector, proper water supply, collection of power bills, garbage disposal and other maintenance activities. Residents can avail on call services of plumbers, chemists, carpenters and domestic help. The RWA committee also organises camps and workshops on issues like registration of voter ID cards, Aadhar cards, ration cards, etc.

The daily shopping needs (grocery stuff, dairy, ATM facility, banks, juice stalls) can be availed at the F and D block markets of Sector 40 and also from the commercial blocks of Sector 41. RWA Sector 40 also has its own Mother Dairy and Safal store. Atta market in Sector 18 and GIP mall in Sector 38, both of which are just about a minute long drive away, also provide shoppers with a diverse range of products. Sector 40 also has a few schools and that includes the Khaitan School.

Personal garages and empty plots take care of most of the parking for residents while visitors, if they are lucky, can also find a slot for their vehicles for a short while.

CCTV cameras at the gates and 20 guards - that is a reasonably good security arrangement for the entire colony.

RWA Sector 40 has several parks and children\'s play areas which provide for a conducive environment for sit-outs, group games and play. The Community Centre houses a library open only for senior citizens and Shri Shirdhi Sai Baba Mandir located within the Sector can address spiritual needs. Apart from all of these, the Residents Welfare Association also hosts and organises functions, jagrans and fests round the year, even as Diwali and New Year are celebrated with much bonhomie.
