This is one of the cleanest and greenest societies of Dwarka.” According to Sinha, the cooperative group of the Society was formed in the eighties by a group of people from the Muslim community and was registered as Shafikur Rehman CGHS. In 2003, the name was changed to ‘Delhi Apartment’. “Now the Society houses various communities. We are an example of harmony and brotherhood. We live like one family. We celebrate all festivals together," Sinha says.

The Society has a fool-proof security system equipped with CCTV cameras and guards who keep a watch over visitors and domestic helps. A register is maintained at the gate for every entry and exit. The domestic helps, sweepers and other such workers are properly verified by the police. Identity cards and tokens are issued to those who enter into the Society.

 A good community hall, a Mother Dairy booth, and facilities for basketball, table tennis and badminton, properly maintained parks and playgrounds keep the residents in high spirits.

The Society is just 150 metres away from Sector 21 Metro station. Rickshaws and autos are easily available near the complex. Being located near road numbers 220 and 225, the Society is also accessible through public transport. Bus routes like ML-83, RL-77, 717 ply through the area. Visitor records are duly maintained at the Society gates. Domestic helps, maintenance staff, drivers and car cleaners are thoroughly verified.

Children love to swing and slide in the exclusive play area of the complex. The gardens are well maintained and adorned with seasonal plants and flowers.
