Classic Apartments Cooperative Group Housing Society was first registered as “Aimo CGHS” in the early 1980s by a group of medical professionals and later changed to “Classic” in 2001 by the society’s residents, says Ram Ashraya Singh, the president of the society. Spread across approximately 15,000 sqm, the society is well known for its richly manicured greenery and flower patches. There are 160 flats of 2, 3 and 4 BHK set-ups, with the largest 4 BHK flats touching approximately 2,100 sqft each. The 3 BHK and the 2  BHK flats are about 1,500 sq ft and 1,100 sqft respectively. Apart from its spacious flats, there are facilities such as round-the-clock water supply, power back-up, a tight security system, a huge community hall, a senior citizen’s library, parks, play areas, a temple, and so on. It also has indoor areas designated for games such as badminton and table tennis, and an effective rainwater harvesting system.

The Society is just a short walk (about 150 m) from the Sector 21 Metro station. You can also take a cycle or an auto rickshaw, which are easily available from there. Located along a master plan road connected with Road No 220 and 225, the society can also be reached by bus, such as the ML-83, RL-77 and 717, and by RTV from Sector 9 and Sector 21 Metro stations.

Maintenance charges are Rs 2,400 a month, which is inclusive of security, common area lighting, electrician and plumbing services. The members also ensure that the area immediately outside the Society is kept clean and green.

Sector 22, in front of Mount Carmel School, and Sector 23, in front of Basava School, are the nearest market areas. Both have a mall each, where almost all requirements are met with, along with a few decent restaurants. Those who like to get their weekly vegetable shopping done in one go, there are the Thursday and Saturday haats for fresh vegetables and fruits at Sector 23.

The Society has eight CCTV cameras installed and six guards appointed to ensure stringent security measures. All visitor entries are efficiently monitored at the gates. All domestic helps, drivers, sweepers, car cleaners, gardeners, electricians and plumbers are properly verified before they can take up service at the Society.

The Society has one main garden, apart from a number of green areas scattered around the premises. Children have the advantage of an exclusive play area with swings and various outdoor play gear. The gardens are well maintained, with fresh blooms and plants. There are also open spaces for residents to walk in.
